Seriously, what was going on in that picture? Is it really just wet sand reflecting the sky . . . because it looks like something more intriguing, especially with that redness in the waves!

@Alice: So nice it's intriguing, that was exactly what I was going for! Well, the bottom half is indeed the wet sand reflecting the sky (the little black dots give it away). This is at the delta of Douro river, late afternoon. That's where the redness comes from, the sun is actually behind me, in front of those little waves.
This picture prompted so many reactions, I'm really happy! -)
